Yibo is experienced in scientific research with the background knowledge on pharmacology and immunology, focusing on the identification and functional analysis of autoantibodies. He has been concentrating on the project during his PhD study investigating the specificity, functions and mechanisms of anti-citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPA) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and also involved in development of novel diagnostic kit for RA. He has received his Ph.D. degree at Karolinska Institutet in 2023. The knowledge and experiences from previous and current work have given Yibo the solid skillset for R&D in Vacara.
