We are delighted to welcome Anthony Yau as Principal Scientist at Vacara AB.

Anthony (MSc in Biochemistry) earned his PhD in 2016 from Karolinska Institutet. He has over a decade of experience in autoimmune diseases and vascular biology, contributing to disease mechanism research, assay development, biomarker discovery, and therapeutic evaluation.

Following a successful academic career, Anthony spent five years in the diagnostics industry developing immunoassays from concept through verification and validation, regulatory submissions (FDA 510(k), CE marking), and post-market support.

At Vacara, Anthony will be involved in projects utilizing the humanized mouse model and will be a key player in the development of our biomarkers for arthritis.

We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the impact his expertise will bring to our research and development efforts.
