Erik has more than ten years’ background in academic research and broad experience in both preclinical and clinical studies, focusing of arthritis risk factors, disease triggering and disease development. He has gained special expertise in method development, autoantibody detection, anti-citrullinated protein antibodies and antibodies as biomarkers and pathogenic factors in rheumatoid arthritis. Erik defended his PhD thesis in 2021 and his education in biomedical laboratory science, statistics and engineering has given him a solid basis for academic discoveries. Entrepreneurial mindset with background as a co-founder and CEO strengthens his expertise in product development towards the market.
